Another controversy has engulfed Aam Aadmi Party after a sting operation has alleged misuse of funds meant for election by the party of Arvind Kejriwal.
The sting operation, conducted by Media Sarkar, on six candidates of the party, including AAP's candidate from RK Puram seat Sazia Ilmi and Kumar Vishwas. It also accuses Arvind Kejriwal of selling one of the constituency seats for a staggering amount of Rs. 2 crore.
Kejriwal says that he needs to have a look at the video then only he will be able to comment. All necessary action will be taken and guilty shall be punished as charged, Kejriwal clarified.
An emergency meeting is underway after the alleged expose came to light. Arvind Kejriwal clarified that matter will be thoroughly investigated and an inquiry will be conducted by Yogenra Yadav and Sanjay Singh.
Ilmi is seen asking for Rs. 25 lakh in lieu of her participation in an agitation. She has been accused of collecting the money on 'raw receipt'. She is also heard saying that party also accepts donation in cash.
Kumar Vishwas have been accused of taking cash money for his participation in a show, instead of cheque.
The sting operation also reveals that the Badarpur constituency seat was sold for a staggering amount of Rs. 2 crore.
Kumar Vishwas defended his action and said that he is a poet and takes remunerations to perform in functions. One of the event company in return.

Shazia Ilmi is seen meeting an employee of a private firm. The employee is seen asking Shazia to act against his competitor firm. It is being alleged that Shazia agreed to help the journalist disguised as the employee of the firm and asked him to submit relevant documents. In the sting Shazia is shown taking the cash as well. In the sting operation, Ilmi is shown explaining ways to tarnish the image of the company.
The journalist then meets Shazia's PA, who asks him to transfer the amount to Outdoor Media Company. He was also asked to present the amount as expenses for miscellaneous work, like petrol and diesel expenses.
The next victim of the sting operation is AAP's candidate from Kondli, Manoj Kumar. He is seen giving assurances that he can arrange black money from one of the person residing in his constituency. In return, he will have to provide him with votes.
Dinesh Mohina from Sangam Vihar is seen promising the journalist that he would get his financial dispute resolved after the elections. Irfan ullah-Khan from Okhla constituency promises that he will get his financial dispute resolved.y's managers approached me and gave me Rs. 50,000. I gave him a receipt of the company in return.
