The BJP may have remained shell-shocked for some time after Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar broke off their long-standing alliance in June this year, but the saffron party now calls the JD(U) leader's decision a blessing in disguise. In an interview to MAIL TODAY in Patna on Saturday, senior party leader Sushil Kumar Modi said the BJP was never in favour of snapping alliance with the JD(U) in the larger interest of Bihar but Nitish's decision to walk out of the NDA would definitely help the party reap electoral benefits under Narendra Modi's leadership.
